Clinical Care Support
This FT MA/Clinical Support position provides clinical care coordination, requiring strong communication skills to address patient questions and concerns over the phone and as a MA with hands-on patient care, supporting our providers by providing excellent, compassionate care to the women in our community.
Certified Medical Assistant, along with some experience in the medical field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right individuals. Excellent computer skills and speed are essential. Competitive salary and benefit package, including health, dental, vision insurance, 401k and profit sharing. Part-Time Healthy Start Pregnancy Resource Specialist
In partnership with Healthy Start, this position is part of a collaborative team that includes physicians and other health care practitioners, Healthy Start, local CCO’s and other community resources. The position is responsible for assisting pregnant patients designated as the highest risk in locating all available resources to help lessen their personal, social and economic hardships and improve their pregnancy outcome.
This position requires the ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, work with minimal supervision and maintain productive relationships with high risk patients, physicians, staff, and community resources. Requires an understanding of motivational interviewing techniques and adult learning strategies. Knowledge of Windows, MS Office (Word & Excel) and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both verbally and in writing required. Experience in a position involving community health education, maternal health education and/or related health services preferred. A Community Health Worker certification is a plus.
