Menopause discussion group to start meeting.

Monthly menopause discussion groups begin meeting April 1 

A monthly menopause discussion group, Before, During and After begins meeting the first Monday of each month, starting  April 1. Led by Melanie Turner, MSN,FNP, the group meets from 4:30 - 6:00pm. The discussion group, limited to no more than 15 people, encourages discussion and is intended to provide education and support for women who are transitioning to menopause or are currently menopausal.
Discussion topics include menopause symptoms, feeling about aging, sexuality and changing roles, hormone replacement therapy and alternative remedies and personal growth.
Discussion groups are free but space is limited and advance registration is required. Each monthly discussion group is an individual class; upcoming dates are May 6, June 3 and July 1. The group meets at Women's Health Center, 1075 SW Grandview, Grants Pass.
