Lauren Jones, NP
Lauren believes in empowering women to prioritize self-care throughout all aspects of life. She strives to partner with her patients to guide them in achieving their individualized health goals. Her intention is to help her patients become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves. Lauren fosters a nurturing environment with clear communication to personalized care plans based on patient preferences and goals.
She is native to Southern Oregon and feels passionate about returning to the community to provide care for women of all ages. Lauren has nearly a decade of experience in healthcare. She began her nursing career in emergency services where she gained valuable knowledge and experience. When not in the office, she finds happiness in spending time with her husband and daughter, enjoying outdoor activities, including rafting, skiing, and hiking.
Marla Peters, MD
Dr. Peters graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2018 and completed her OB/GYN residency at Memorial University Medical Center. Dr. Peters enjoys partnering with her patients through all walks of life. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology, infertility and reproductive endocrinology, and management of menopause. She is very open with her patients and incorporates mental well-being and health into her practice to provide a holistic approach to management. Dr. Peters enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and their pup during her off time. She loves painting with acrylics and watercolors and draws inspiration from her hikes.
Justin Shelton, DO
Dr. Shelton joined Women's Health Center in August 2018. Dr. Shelton completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Shelton became an OB/GYN to take care of all women across their entire life-span and works to be each patient's advocate for quality of life and reproductive health. He has a strong interest and skill in minimally invasive surgery and is happy to be part of our provider team.
He and his wife enjoy everything about the outdoors including hiking, rock climbing, camping and mountain biking and know that southern Oregon is the perfect place to settle and become part of a community.
Felicia Cohen, M.D.
Dr. Coh
en believes part of her job is being her patient’s advocate, explaining risks and benefits and making decisions as a team. Her special interests include menopausal medicine and minimally invasive surgery.
She received her OB/GYN training at the University of Miami and moved to Grants Pass to develop a small town practice that puts the patient first. She is married with three little boys and loves the outdoors. Dr. Cohen is bilingual and speaks Spanish.
Thom Eagan, D.O.
Dr. Eagan is a doctor because he loves to hear people’s stories and use his office and surgical skills to help them. He enjoys the broad range of patients provided by obstetrics and gynecology, specifically urinary and pelvic floor issues.
He grew up in a small town in Utah, married a girl from Salem, and now they and their two children are enjoying everything that Grants Pass and southern Oregon has to offer. Dr. Eagan graduated from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and trained in Akron, Ohio.
Caroline Kelly, M.D.
Dr. Kelly finds the practice of OB/GYN to be a rare privilege, partnering with women to optimize their reproductive health and overall quality of life. Dr. Kelly wants her patients to know that she will be their ally, helping them to develop personalized solutions for their medical issues. She first became drawn to OB/GYN when living in Southern Africa and helping mothers to deliver healthy babies. Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and trained in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kelly values serving the women in our community and building relationships with them and their families over the years. She and her husband are thrilled to be in Southern Oregon and with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, cycling, snowshoeing and adventures with their puppy in the beautiful Rogue Valley.
Tamara Medley, M.D.
Dr. Medley knew as a child that she would go into obstetrics. She says, “There is nothing more wonderful or magical than the birth of a child.” She has four children of her own and knows the challenges and joys of motherhood. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, cycling, and has completed several triathlons. Dr. Medley graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and trained in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
