Lauren Javernick, MD

Dr. Lauren Javernick joined the Women’s Health Center in August 2021. She and her family have had to opportunity to live all over the country in Colorado, Florida, and Iowa. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas prior to moving to her home Grants Pass. At that time, she celebrated her roles as the Director of Simulation, and Multidisciplinary Code Coordinator. She was awarded the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Outstanding Resident and the UTHSCSA Excellence Award. She is certified in DaVinci Robotics.

She shares education, experience, and authenticity with her patients, working together with them to create individualized, and evidence-based care plans. Minimally invasive surgery has always been her joy, but as a mother of two, partnering with a woman and her baby to achieve a safe and healthy pregnancy is especially rewarding.

“I see many patients with abnormal bleeding, vaginal prolapse, and incontinence. As a surgeon, I am passionate about exploring all options and restoring my patients to their prior functionality. However, my most rewarding moments are when my patients are listened to, feeling they are not alone.”

When not at the office, you can usually find her outside with her husband and two boys.
